Bridge community feedback with internal engineering workflow. When a user opens an issue on GitHub, this template automatically creates a mirrored Linear issue, maintains two-way status sync (In Progress, Closed), and relays comment updates bi-directionally.

Step by step

  1. 01

    GitHub Issue Event Webhook

    Triggers on issues opened, edited, or labeled.

    Linear Task Creation

    Creates corresponding issue in Linear GraphQL API.

    State Mapping Sync

    Links GitHub issue ID with Linear issue ID in persistent state.

What you need to connect

You connect your own accounts on install. The template never carries anyone else's credentials.
